I saw this was released a few days ago but didnt actually have time to watch it hehe.

Overall everyone did a really nice job on their parts. My favurites being lenko (lmfa the voice acting in yours was great) and cvg´s clips.
I think some of these were very nicelly done and quite funny but the overall presentation of the collab feels sloppy and unfinished. Still it was goodie!

hay muchas animacioncillas buenas en esto y hay mucha variedad, lo cual es una cosa muy buena.

Lo unico que siento que falta en este demo reel, hablando asi mas un poco mas uhuhm gei profesionalmente es que falta algun tipo de animacion que demuestre fuerza y el peso en los personajes. hay un(os) walk cycle(s) que pusiste ahi en los que el personaje como que se desliza mucho. No se "siente" lo suficiente el contacto que el monito hace con el piso.

Mucha de la animación ahi esta bien pero es mucho fbf mas "experimental...?" Tienes unos ahi que son medio tirandole a la catoblepas.
creo que lo senti asi porque los cuerpos de muchos de tus personajes aqui vistos de repente se deforman, trabaja un poco mas en la consistencia de sus cuerpos.

Las tomas de perspectiva se ven chidillas, pero tienen algunos (menores) hipos que podrias corregir en futuras animaciones, la mas notoria es una que pusiste en la que una llanta de un carro no se ve lo suficientemente alineada con la cubierta y como que le quita vida a la caricatura. Hay otra (vi el demo reel 2 veces) en la que un monito como que se sube a una silla en forma acrobatica, y luego se baja de la silla y sale por una puerta, pero sus pies magicamente estan por encima de la silla mientras que el sale de la habitacion.

De todo el demo reel, creo que el mejor bit es el del tipo comiendo lasaña.
Por otro lado tu fbf es bastante consistente asi que sabes que vas por buen camino :=)

p.s. lol me gusta tu intro con el logo. Es simple, pero hace el trabajo.

Muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de ver el reel y dejar un review constructivo Emanhattan, se aprecia mucho! Estoy totalmente de acuerdo en todo lo que dijiste, y pienso tomar muy en cuenta los comentarios.
Hare ejercicios de peso y varios walk cycles para que se vea mas de adeveras, digamos. Lo que mencionas del tipo que salta en la silla y la pata esta por delante envez de atrás, fue una patinada espantosa y alguna revolvida extraña con las capas. No me había dado cuenta pero lo corregire. Y realmente me alegra decir que los bits que más "criticaste" son realmente los mas antiguos (el del coche y la llanta es de 2008, por ejemplo) asi que si he ido mejorando a lo largo del tiempo (el de la lasaña es practicamente el más reciente de todos).
Gracias otra vez por el review, lo tendré muy presente. Saludos!

Al principio puse este review en ingles pero ahora lo pondre en español para que quede completamente claro

hasta ahora vete a la versh solo han sido 15 episodios de exactamente la misma mierda, una caricatura de 30 segundos con un sombreado horrible y personajes que dicen Puta,chingado,pendejo,etcetera en un intento desesperado por ser gracioso y "original" heh. Porque las caricaturas en internet no tienen groserias y penes y otras sandeces.

Creo que vete a la versh, entre otras, es una de las razones por las que la animacion flash mexicana nunca sera completamente respetada como un medio artistico.

Strange, never the less charming

I tought it was a nice, simple fantasy/horror story.

I like the whole "squiddlgevission" character designs, fits very well with the music and environment

if anything, the only thing i feel was lacking, was a longer story, a resolution, will the kid forever stay in the cirque des enfants? or will he escape?? A but of a more exact ending would have been pretty good.

Still thats probably not what you were going for cause it seems to me the cartoon mixes a bit of reality with abstraction.

welp. I cant understand how can stuff like this amuse the people of ng but ok.

You know in the future you might want to add a bit of decent shading instead of randomly adding shadows for "detail".

I didnt find it funny at all, to be honest
but I was kinda predicting that so mostly I payed more attention on the animation itself.

The first suggestion i could give you is to learn to shade properly. You should use shading to help you sugest shape and depth, not just for the sake of puting a blob of slightly dakened colour in there. I think the easyest example I could give you is the megaman you drew, whose helmet is shaded on the left while the chest has this magical dakened area to the left , and so on. Pick a light source and stick to it. Dont add shadows everywhere just to add "detail". you rather should just not add shadows at all until you learn the basics about it.

Also look ait videos of people running. The part where the scout started to run looked really ugly. it looks like a torso floating. and the legs dont really add up do the effect of the run, nor does it add any weight feel of the run.

in a nutshell, the problem with this cartoon is that it is... well
something a typical newgrounder would make.
