People have many tastes some people like to see serious animation with a good story from beginning to end with a grand narrative and others prefer to see a number of useful stuff with humor.

Whatever you have to like you as a writer because if you do not like what you do not make any sense.

Wow I wonder what the NEWGROUNDS COMMUNITY WANTS HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I like things with a unique sense of art direction. Also I quite like short animations, though to be short and still work nicely they need 'replay' value. Or hell, just make a loop or something. Go on, do it.

im da baby
gotta love me

Violence, video game references, and dick jokes.

Anything else will be done better by either cable or Hollywood.

I like seeing what you want. If you work hard enough at making a Flash cartoon you thoroughly enjoy, making it a reality as close as you can manage to the idea in your head, it'll surely be awesome.

But I guess if you weren't asking for that kind of lame answer...

I like movies that take a certain mood and focus on it to the point that the tone is so very clear, it spreads into your own emotion. Movies that are genuinely funny often center all their emphasis on the humor without falling short at any level. Movies that are genuinely mystifying usually put their focus on the flow of a storyline, always raising questions without predictable or cheap answers. Movies that are genuinely random will be just that, and nothing else. Those are the sorts of works that stick out most in my mind, in Flash and in film otherwise.

idk

What's with the alien smurf?

For flash animations, I usually enjoy watching something with a short general concept surrounding it as many others would I think. Having an extremely cinematic animation with a ton of voice work would be extremely difficult to pull off and the animation and art would also have to be of a certain standard for me to like it. That's why humour is generally the way to go: it's easy, everyone loves it, and you'll watch it over and over again if it's funny enough. Short, extremely well animated bits are also delightful to see as I am an animator, I tend to watch those over and over again and try to analyse every movement.

Also dicks, must have dicks.

I want to see some personal emotion.
