The drinking age in Britain is 18+, but I'm perfectly content with sitting in front of my laptop all day programming and playing TF2. You make me think that I don't truly appreciate what I have.
I think the reason that so many people think you are hateful towards all Flash is that you certainly make your negative opinions heard - posting them on the front page or whatnot. Not to mention that it's much easier to notice and remember a negative review on a popular Flash than a positive one.
Also, people who say "you couldn't do better" piss me off. A review score is a measurement of how much you enjoy the fucking thing, not how it shapes up compared to what you can do.
