Im not really into the whole "line" artwork. Im trying to say I prefer drawings with palpable characters and things

HOWEVER

there is just something in this thing that is atractive. it has really nice colours and overall decent balance.

lenko, give yourself a pat in the back. you have developed such a nice sense of texture, lighting and balance... just look at that. I love the shading.

may I ask how many hours did it take you to make this?
Also how many colours are you willing to use when making one of these spectacular thingies? I dont know, every time you make a drawing you seem to use more and more colours to create a diferent contrast or feel.

this probably took around 8 hours from start to finish seeing as it was my first painting and i needed to get to grips with stuff

Colours are usually basic but then i tend to add more in when it comes to shading. if you shade with 'unconventional' colours like dark red or deep purple you can pull off some really cool shit

I think you need to add a bit more of drops here and there to help create the ilussion that you have a fluid in there.

have a bucket of anything drop overyourself and youll notice it isnt just a thick line falling off. its more like a bunch of small drops falling together, creating that ilussion.

really incredible job at pencil art

the texture of objects like the metalic weapon, the skin and the dirt came out really nice. Your seem to be very skilled with clothing, wich is really hard.

seriously It looks like it took you years to do

only thing thats bugging me is the head of the soldier to the right. see how it curves a bit? its probably just a problem with the scanning

Thanks for all the compliments, I can only promise it looks far better in person, hah!
As for the head, it was one of the several mistakes I made, but I noticed it far too late.
It was worsened when I uploaded onto the computer as well, but it wasn't perfect to begin with.
